Didn't feel like leaving, I had a very good time and would book here again. Polite staff, I appreciated them, no complaint. It was located in a fairly nice area just next door to supermarkets, bars and restaurants and the ruin pubs, and many restaurants and attractions,...

the location was perfect, allowing us to easily access all the important places in the city. the staff was extremely polite and even left our friends' luggage for free on the day of departure. the shared spaces were cleaned daily by the cleaner, and we appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen. we felt safe and secure during our stay, and the option to use the app on our phone as a key was convenient. we had a comfortable and enjoyable week in Budapest.
Don't have any issues at all 😊

The Black Sheep Budapest Smart Rooms had a unique charm, just like the Blaha Lujza Square nearby. The property really stood out, much like the vintage lift that took us to the 5th floor. It added a touch of adventure to our stay, just imagining an old-world Hollywood heist scenario. While the receptionist struggled with English, it wasn't a biggie; she still managed to assist us throughout our stay. The lack of information made it all the more exciting, like solving a puzzle. And hey, who needs a taxi when you can experience the true local life on Budapest's excellent public transport system!
Poor communication in English

I had a great stay at the hotel. The location was very convenient, allowing me to explore the city easily on foot. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely balcony. The hotel had a public kitchen that was well-equipped, except for a bottle opener. The staff were polite and helpful, even allowing us to store our friends' luggage for free on the day of departure. The shared spaces were cleaned daily, providing a pleasant and hygienic environment. I had a fantastic week in this city, with the hotel offering a comfortable place to rest, have breakfast, and even cook for myself.

I really appreciated the cleanliness and calm atmosphere at the Black Sheep Budapest Smart Rooms. The daily cleaning of shared areas made a big difference, and the AC in the lobby was a relief during the hot summer. Even though our room only had a ceiling fan, it helped us stay comfortable. I would recommend this hotel, especially if you can find a good deal.
Drawbacks: However, I did have a bit of trouble with the Bluetooth lock on the doors. Having to download multiple apps and keep my phone with me at all times was inconvenient.

The shared kitchen and lounge were a great addition, allowing us to socialize with other guests and make new friends. It felt like a bustling café, but with the comfort of our own place. Our spacious apartment had everything we needed, from a washing machine to a flat-screen TV. It was like having a luxurious home away from home.
Thin walls, noisy neighbors.

Great location, close to the metro station and the city center. The room and common areas were clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment, including a coffee machine. Additionally, there was a Turkish restaurant right next door that was open 24/7, making it convenient for late-night food cravings.
There were a few issues with the check-in process and communication with the receptionist. The elevator was old and had a flashing light inside, which was a bit unsettling.

The location of this hostel is absolutely mind-blowing! It's in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the major attractions and amenities. The room we had was super spacious and comfortable, and the common areas were also surprisingly big. Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, even providing us with an extra fan when it got hot. The option to use an app for key access was jaw-droppingly convenient. We also loved the fully equipped kitchen and the fact that they had tea and coffee available. our experience here was top-notch and we definitely recommend it to others!
